GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF A RESOLUTION/S OR ISSUE/S FOR CONFERENCE ACTION AT AN ANNUAL FEDERATION CONFERENCE

 Members of the Franciscan Federation requesting to place any Resolution/s or Issue/s before the Annual Franciscan Federation Conference must submit the Resolution/s or Issue/s in writing to the National Board by May 31^st of the current year.

GUIDELINES: 

1. The Resolution/s or Issue/s must contain the following:

·         A statement of the Resolution/s or Issue/s

·         A rationale for the Resolution/s or Issue/s

·         A call for specific action (if one is suggested)

·         Additional facts/related information

·         Origin of proposal (Name of group or names of persons submitting proposal)

·         Budget (if any)

·         Contact person (Name, address, phone, fax and email) 

2. The Resolution/s or Issue/s must be received by the National Office no later than May 31^st of the current year.
    

3. The Resolution/s or Issue/s must be approved by the National Board or by a delegated committee of the National Board for submission to the entire conference.
    

4. If not accepted, the National Board will state in writing the rational for its decision to the submitting party or parties.
    

5. Resolution/s or Issue/s that are not resolved at the conference and need further study will be referred to the National Board for discussion and possible action.
