Research
1. A site for many
valuable articles, books, and tapes on Franciscan Evangelical life, the
TOR Rule and other Franciscan topics.
2. The National Office holds lists of most Third Order Regular
Franciscan congregations in the United States.
Services
1. To sponsor,
host, and publicize programs that focus on the Franciscan Evangelical
life.
2. To be a clearinghouse in the United States for studies and resources
regarding the history, spirituality and ongoing commentary on the 1982
Third Order Rule.
3. To support and deepen membership commitment to the Third Order
Regular charism through research, programs and sale of resources.
4. Host an annual Federation Conference.
5. To be network service for the TOR congregations, and other Franciscan
groups, e.g., the First Order Franciscans, the Poor Clares and the
Secular Franciscans.
6. To collaborate
with the International Franciscan Conference.
7. To provide active leadership in the Regionalization process of the
Federation. The regions were developed to insure the participation of
every member of our TOR congregations.
8. To network and collaborate with Franciscan Colleges and Universities,
Retreat/Renewal Centers, Spiritual Directors, JPIC Offices and
Directors, Friars Conferences, Ministry Personnel, Poor Clare
Monasteries, and Formation Personnel.
9. To be a communication vehicle for all TOR constituencies through:

through networking and collaboration with Franciscan Centers of learning
and renewal.
